FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about the Eruditica Journal of Law, Management & Society (EJLMS). If your question is not covered here, write to [email protected].

What does EJLMS publish?

EJLMS publishes original research, review articles, methodological papers, essays, and short communications across the law, management, public policy, governance, and the social sciences, policy and education, technology and culture, and interdisciplinary studies. The journal is hospitable to empirical, methodological, theoretical, and interpretive contributions that cross departmental lines.

Is the journal open access?

Yes. Every article is open access from the day it is published, released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, with no paywalls and no embargo. Authors retain copyright. See Copyright & Licensing and the Open Access Policy.

How often is EJLMS published?

EJLMS publishes on a monthly schedule. Accepted articles are added to the current issue as soon as they complete production.

Are there article processing charges?

Charges, and the waivers available for early-career authors and authors from low-income countries, are described on the Article Processing Charges and Waiver Policy pages. Any figures marked [PLACEHOLDER] remain pending until formally confirmed by the publisher.

How does peer review work?

All submissions are screened for scope, completeness, originality, and ethical compliance, then evaluated through double-blind peer review. See the Peer Review Process, Publication Ethics, and Plagiarism Policy pages.

How do I submit a manuscript?

Read the Author Guidelines, then submit through the journal's online submission system. Manuscripts should be in English and prepared for double-blind review.

How long does a decision take?

Manuscripts within scope receive constructive review with clear timelines; manuscripts outside scope are redirected promptly, with referrals to better-fit venues where possible. We aim to give authors candid, timely first decisions on fit and method — specific turnaround targets are published on the Peer Review Process page rather than promised here.

Does EJLMS have an ISSN and indexing?

ISSN registration has been applied for and is awaiting allocation. Indexing, DOI, and preservation registrations are in progress and are described honestly on the Indexing & Abstracting and Archiving Policy pages. The journal does not claim metrics or indexing status it has not yet earned.

Who do I contact?
